Being in close proximity to the train station and straight down the main street from the two large malls is a major plus. the location being within walking distance of the station makes it easy to explore the area. the room was comfortable and had a nice view of the garden outside. the staff were helpful and friendly. the facilities, especially the conference and banqueting facilities, are noteworthy.
The hotel does not have true non-smoking rooms or lobby areas which could be a deal-breaker for some guests with sensitivity to smoke.

The location of the hotel is excellent, situated on the edge of the old city and close to the historic quarters. During the Cherry Blossom season in early April, it is just a short train ride away from the beautiful blossoms. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the JR station, making it easy to access the two big malls for shopping.
There were a few spots on the carpet in some of the rooms.
